KIWABI Color Treatment offers a more intensive and thorough coloring solution, perfect for those who desire greater coverage of grey hair with less frequent applications. Similar to the process of a manicure, you may need 2-3 applications to achieve the desired coverage, but with each use, your hair is not only colored but also treated with a potent blend of 31 plant extracts like Western Ivy, Roman Chamomile, and Rosemary, and 4 natural oils including Camellia Seed Oil and Lavender Oil. It depends on the individual, but if you shampoo everyday with the Color Shampoo, you should see more natural coverage and results within 10 uses. However, daily use (or every time you shower) is key to maintaining the color. If you want more immediate results, we recommend using the Color Treatment and Conditioner for Color-Treated Hair to maintain the color and luster for longer.

Please note that daily use / consistent use of the Color Shampoo is critical to gradually building up the natural coverage and maintaining the color. If you want more immediate results, please use the Color Treatment.

If you are doing this and the Shampoo doesn't seem to be working after 10x uses, there can be a few reasons why it's not.

If the color is still not adhering, please try the following: 

1. Make sure hair is not oily, or has styling products or other creams  or treatment oils on it that is preventing the color from adhering to the hair strands well.  Try washing your hair with the Color Shampoo twice in one shower, or your regular shampoo followed by our Color Shampoo, so you can be sure that the color goes directly onto your hair strands without other residue. 

2. Try leaving the Color Shampoo on the hair for 3 - 5 minutes - while also massaging it in to make sure it is thoroughly coating each hair strand.  

3. The foam from the lather should be a thick, fine foam by the time you are letting it sit / washing it out. It is the thickness & fineness of the foam that helps distribute and deliver the color thoroughly.

Our product does not force cuticles to open up to bleach inside the hair. This is a manicure type gray coverage with no additives that attatches on the hair surface. With 8 kinds of botanical ingredients that are gentle, it is safe to use every day. There is no diamin coloring contained. We use natural plant colors to avoid stress on the hair and scalp.

Use our Shampoo every day or once in a few days as you normally do. However, when it comes to effects, the color gradually accumulates. The more often you use the Color Shampoo, the more effective it will be

It depends on how much gray hair you have or its condition, but just one teaspoonful may be too little. Color Shampoo works best by lathering it up finely and by spreading the lather over all grays as much as you can. As you use generous amounts of lather every day, grays will diminish.

Please try this technique:

1. Put shampoo on wet hands. As with regular shampoos, make sure hair is thoroughly wet before applying.

2. Don't lather the shampoo in your hand first but lather directly onto your head as you would regular shampoos. We recommend using the included scalp-rubbing brush that helps you make a fluffy, dense and fine lather that will be able to get into your follicles to color hair from the roots. The ultra fine lather ensures that the color disperses and is applied thoroughly and evenly.

3. Rinse thoroughly until the water becomes clear.

Our gray coverage Color Shampoo is made with suepr gentle, dermatologist-approved ingredients and without additives so that even customers with sensitive skin can use it daily. There is no adverse effects by washing twice in a row or using it everyday. Rest assured with its safety. If you use the Color Care Conditioner also, it will extend the life of color and turns your hair soft, radiant and smooth.

No need to worry, this is not a leak nor defective packaging. Although rare, the slight color that you may see on the white neck of the pump happens due to intentional design.

Our bottles are designed with a special vacuum pump feature to prevent the liquid from oxidizing. As a result, when you push down the pump, a small amount of the shampoo can be pushed out from a tiny hole in the neck of the pump as it pushes out air that comes in to prevent it from entering the bottle.

There is no issue with the product or bottle itself. This design is also used in other shampoo bottles but it's not usually noticed because usual shampoos do not have any color.

We recommend finish using the Color Shampoo in about three months after it is opened. The Color Shampoo does not contain strong preservatives. When 3 months pass after opening, the Shampoo may be in a condition unable to preserve the original quality. As a result, the dyeing power may be compromised or the color may change.

If you have a short haircut or short bob, one bottle should last for almost 2 months even if you use it everyday. The pace of use depends upon each individual, and 2 months is just an estimate. The key to good coloring is to make a dense, fluffy, and fine lather while you are shampooing and be sure the lather covers all the hair.
