Kiwabi's hair color shampoo is a multi-tasking high-performance shampoo to maintain and cover gray hair over a series of uses. The gently cleansing formula wraps each hair from root to tip with a hydrating coat of color while hydrating and rejuvenating the scalp and hair follicles.
Please note that this shampoo works like a manicure coat and does not cover the hair with just one coat. Unlike regular hair dyes that break open the hair cuticle to inject color, we coat and seal the cuticles. Please see the color chart below for reference on usage vs. coverage.
The gray and roots-vanishing shampoo is now formulated with 20 anti-aging botanicals (formerly 8) that nurture, hydrate and strengthen the hair and scalp while 5 new plant-based oils moisturize and protect from dryness, UV rays, and environmental aggressors.
Unlike most coloring products that dry out the roots which can eventually cause melanin loss (grays) and hair loss, our Hair Color Shampoo gently cleans and delivers hydration deep into each hair follicle with a thick, fine lather.

Use our Color Shampoo like any other shampoo! Pump out shampoo into your hands and using the included scalp massaging brush or your fingers, lather into the scalp and hair to create a dense, fine foam. Once you have worked up a rich lather, rinse out with water thoroughly.
You can use Color Shampoo daily in place of your regular shampoo or a couple of times a week. Since the shampoo subtly colors hair with each use, you can build up to a shade that you feel flatters you most.
Once washed out, the color does not rub off or transfer onto clothes, towels or pillowcases.

Yes, you use it like regular shampoo. Just switch your shampoo with our Color Shampoo.
It depends on the individual, but if you shampoo everyday, On about the third use, you begin to see the color on the grays and with each use, natural colors will settle. If you desire better color hold and improved color and luster, we recommend the Conditioner for Color-Treated Hair to be used with the Colorng Shampoo.
Our product does not force cuticles to open up to bleach inside the hair. This is a manicure type gray coverage with no additives that attatches on the hair surface. With 8 kinds of botanical ingredients that are gentle, it is safe to use every day. There is no diamin coloring contained. We use natural plant colors to avoid stress on the hair and scalp.
Use our Shampoo every day or once in a few days as you normally do. However, when it comes to effects, the color gradually accumulates. The more often you use the Color Shampoo, the more effective it will be
It depends on how much gray hair you have or its condition, but just one teaspoonful may be too little. Color Shampoo works best by lathering it up finely and by spreading the lather over all grays as much as you can. As you use generous amounts of lather every day, grays will diminish.
Please try this technique:
1. Put shampoo on wet hands. As with regular shampoos, make sure hair is thoroughly wet before applying.
2. Don't lather the shampoo in your hand first but lather directly onto your head as you would regular shampoos. We recommend using the included scalp-rubbing brush that helps you make a fluffy, dense and fine lather that will be able to get into your follicles to color hair from the roots. The ultra fine lather ensures that the color disperses and is applied thoroughly and evenly.
3. Rinse thoroughly until the water becomes clear.
Our gray coverage Color Shampoo is made with suepr gentle, dermatologist-approved ingredients and without additives so that even customers with sensitive skin can use it daily. There is no adverse effects by washing twice in a row or using it everyday. Rest assured with its safety. If you use the Color Care Conditioner also, it will extend the life of color and turns your hair soft, radiant and smooth.
No need to worry, this is not a leak nor defective packaging. Although rare, the slight color that you may see on the white neck of the pump happens due to intentional design.
Our bottles are designed with a special vacuum pump feature to prevent the liquid from oxidizing. As a result, when you push down the pump, a small amount of the shampoo can be pushed out from a tiny hole in the neck of the pump as it pushes out air that comes in to prevent it from entering the bottle.
There is no issue with the product or bottle itself. This design is also used in other shampoo bottles but it's not usually noticed because usual shampoos do not have any color.
We recommend finish using the Color Shampoo in about three months after it is opened. The Color Shampoo does not contain strong preservatives. When 3 months pass after opening, the Shampoo may be in a condition unable to preserve the original quality. As a result, the dyeing power may be compromised or the color may change.
If you have a short haircut or short bob, one bottle should last for almost 2 months even if you use it everyday. The pace of use depends upon each individual, and 2 months is just an estimate. The key to good coloring is to make a dense, fluffy, and fine lather while you are shampooing and be sure the lather covers all the hair.
